Because it makes sense to me to have a player who was actually the penalty taker for his previous club to be taking penalties over someone who might take one in every now and again. The order should be Aguero/Toure/Bony and then if they want, Kolorov but he shouldn't be above Bony in the list. Bony has scored 5/5 of his last penalties. I'm not sure why this was overlooked.
Is it just me that never feels confident with Kun on penalties? A truly outrageous thing to say, I know.

Edit : not following you around pal, I promise. ;)

Nope. I always think that the next pen is the one any player is gonna miss. The number of times I was waiting for Mario to miss, and then we had that delightful one from David Silva. There were people in the ground who would have turned away yesterday as Yaya began his run up, and I did say "Not over the bar, Yaya" as he strode forward!!

Sagna is the best defensive full back at City, but what made Cafu, Ashley Cole World Class full backs was their ability going forward.

For me Kolarov will never be a world class player like those because his defensive game is a little suspect, but he is a hell of a player going forward. And the full back role is as much about goin forward as defending. 7/10 for defending, 10/10 for attacking

He's won titles under two managers. The club, who could bid for anyone, has never as far as I know ever made buying a left back a priority yet there are some fans who persist with this Kolarov bashing. There have been periods when his game was poor - criticise then. Not at the moment

kolarov attacking play is overrated.all he has is a good cross , he has no pace no dribbling abality , not a player who is top passing to play quick one two and you are comparing him to CAFU and roberto carlos reallt wtf

All he has is a good cross ! Er, and a hell of a shot, great threat at free kicks scores a few goals ( I guess you didn't cheer when he scored at Goodison ! ) and most important of all for any player in any position he uses the ball well and retains possession. Often under extreme pressure eg yesterday in the last minute when he took the sting out of the situation by kidding the Norwich player and playing a cool ball to the centre half. What some fail to realize is that ball retention is actually defending. If weve got it they can't score rather than hoofing it anywhere and giving it away ! Defending is as much about us keeping it as the British disease of loving a crunching tackle. Kolarov is hard enough and tackles well enough.Sure defensivel y there may have been others slightly better but as an all round team player he is excellent.

Why you having a go at me my quote was an answer to somebody else. I like Kola

Integral part to the way we attack ( just like Zaba was/is when not injured ) but of course his defending leaves a lot to be desired. Still can't get it out of my head when a team was attacking and the full back four were in a straight line and Kolarov had a player on the outside of him but he ran straight out to the player with the ball like a headless chicken and made it easy for them to get an easy cross into the box. His slow acceleration and reactions doesn't help him in 1 on 1's either. I do feel a LB is due in next season unless Angelino is being primed. Oh wicked strike of the ball and accuracy of his first time crosses are great so WHY IS HE STRIKING SHITE PENS!!! I'm not actually mad but found that strange.
