Player Topic: Bacary Sagna (2015/16)

Another player who looks transformed compared to last season,and every high ball that came his direction can't remember him losing out on any..As some have already mentioned in threads keeping a constant back four and not chopping and changing is surely a good thing(bar injuries and suspensions)..
 
Another very good game from Bacary, seems to be similar to Kolarov in the sense that he just needed a run of games.

Wont be long before he starts picking up a few assists
 
Three games in, no goals against, leave the back four alone until it needs changing, well played all of them.
 
He's done well. He's even looked good going forward when I've never seen him as a particularly good attacking full back throughout his career.
 
He's doing great.

I hope he keeps it up. If so we can give Zabaleta more time to regain fitness.
 
All this talk of not rotating the defence is too simplistic.

The idea is to have defenders who can be successfully rotated and keep the team performance level up. Just look at Chelsea at the back end of last season, the team looked shot. We need to keep the squad fresh if we want to compete on all fronts.

When we are playing 8 games in 4 weeks, players will be glad of the rest.
 
Sagna looks bloody solid at right back, not much gets past him. Not as good going forward as Zabba but probably better defensively?
 
He's been exceptional this season. Going to give Zaba a run for his money when he's back healthy!
