Good debut, but Nasty was the young future only 2 years ago and now he's behind Dedryk in a game agin Weds.
Let's give him time ,space & encouragement if things go a bit wobbly.

Nasty, even at his best, never displayed the attributes this lad has.

Mangala is bigger,he has more power, more pace, more industry and a greater hunger,he's also technically better - basically he's on another footballing planet.

Nasti at his best looked very composed but he will never have that physical presence in view of his size. Mangala, has physical presence but also speed and aggression which you rarely get together. Add in the fact that he looks fine on the ball that is why we all a bit giddy.

All that said we must not forget he is a young lad in a new league and we must give him plenty of support.

£32m was a bargain. If he does go to Spain or France in the summer it'll be for at least £50m. Everyone's a winner!
Fuckin strewth!

Mate, he's been here for 5-6 weeks and only played 2 games for us so far and you're already talking about selling him??????

Some people haven't got used to the fact that we are no longer a selling club. They are still expecting it all to go tits-up and we'll end up selling all our best players to 'bigger' clubs, like we did back in the past, when Paul Stewart joined Spurs and SWP went to Chelsea, for example.

Since HRH Sheikh Mansour bought this wonderful club, I can't think of any player who has left simply because he wanted to.

Either they have been unwanted by the manager or are no longer good enough to contribute to the cause.

Yes, I know Negredo is reported to have engineered his move to Valencia, but he wasn't in Pellegrini's immediate plans, as he'd been left out of the Champions' League squad and is still injured, I believe.

Phil Neville was saying only a few weeks ago that United had Mangala watched last season, but Moyes and everyone else at Utd weren't impressed, and didn't think he was good enough to partner the likes of Jonny Evans or Chris Smalling. Neville finished by saying "the fact that he's only France's 4th-choice centre-back tells you all you need to know".

Scary but true.
Did he really say that?

He is, quite literally, an idiot - in the clinical sense, made even more astonishing by the manifest intelligence of his brother.

That someone so stupid is allowed to pass comment about football on national television says a great deal about the BBC, wider society and united's undue influence over both.

Message to Neville: He who laughs last, laughs longest.
