He's not "learning it", he's played there professionally for years already?! I'm sure every CB has had a "shocker", the important thing is they shouldn't be having one too often.
For me, it's still a bit worrying that he couldn't get into the French team ahead of that dodgy guy who plays for Liverpool and allegedly, Utd stopped looking at him as they considered him to be a "bomb scare"....
At the level we are aiming for now, we need players who can do it consistently, week in, week out. Brilliant performance at home last weekend against Chelsea is good, today was not. Time to cut the young man some slack though as it is still early doors. Bit of a shame for MDM who has been excellent for months now...

The older he gets the less mistakes he will make. CB is a tough position to learn and every CB has had a shocker.
