was I the only 1 who seen a handball by the hull city player before the foul looked to control the ball into his chest

Nope, pretty blatant on the replays.

Also, Hinchclliffe on Sky was well too harsh on Mangala for the OG. There was a Hull player waiting for a pull back and yet he says Mangala wasn't deep enough? If he was and the ball had been pulled back Hinchcliffe would have been saying he was too deep and should have been covering
Dammed if he does, dammed if he doesn't. Mangala wasn't bad today, he was simply unlucky.
He was poor today. He may be a great prospect, but he doesn't look ready yet.

Re: Mangala

Poor game today but looked great last week. Still needs time to get used to the league. He shows all the signs of being a top class defender, strength and pace but today it was the way he read the game that let him down. This will come in time there is no doubt.

Re: Mangala

He's class and he had an off day! Anyone who is flapping about him should calm down. If anything he was probably too laid back about the opposition today, that's it

Re: Mangala

Why is everyone so convinced he's class? He has shown pace and strength but precious little else. Two defensive situations today with hardly any trouble in sight and the ball is in the back of our net twice because of him. That ain't good by any standards. He showed the same nervousness on Wednesday night.

I didn't judge him when he played well so won't Judge him after these 2 mistakes, judge him at the end of the season he's 23 in a new country playing in one of the hardest leagues in the world away from home it's all new to him

I mentally abused him for the own goal, I mentally abused him for the penalty. But I just wanted him to hold his nerve until half time when MP could put an arm round his shoulder and talk quietly to him so his confidence would come back.

Not a physiologist but I bet he felt quite embarrassed for scoring the own goal and letting his new team mates down.
