Re: Mangala

Brilliant last week, poor today. You can't judge him after two games in a new league though. Many people wrote off Demichelis early on, and are still wiping the egg off their face. He has all the attributes to be a quality centre half.

Re: Mangala

Tough, tough position for a youngster to play, especially in England. Thought he sorted/steadied his self in the second half and is a potential top drawer centre back. Vidic, Hansen, Beckenbaur, Sir Bobby Moore and Sir Richard of Dunne all had their off days.

Re: Mangala

He's class but needs a little time to get used to playing with Vinny and playing in a new league. He'll learn not to panic so much and I'm sure Vinny will teach him.

Re: Mangala

'kin hell - do you want Dunney back? No. This guy had one dodgy game! He's gonna be rock solid

Re: Mangala

Looked fantastic in his first two games and typically off the pace in his third.
That headed own goal could have happened to anyone, but his positioning for it was poor. Just a lack of concentration, which was exactly the same for the pen.
He has shown enough so far to warrant the plaudits he's had. He's young enough to learn and he has a chance to learn from the very best.
It was nice to see the best(Vinny) dismiss any concerns about Mangala in his post match interview. He just laughed it off and said every defender in the world has moments and days like that.

He has every attribute to be the best. He has the best defender in the world to learn from and also to provide back up when needed.

Mangala has every chance to live up to expectations and the best environment to do it in.

Re: Mangala

Wow very poor game but he will learn from his mistakes. I think he might be watching Demi and Vinny for next few games until he can get his competitive levels up to speed and will watch his film. He almost threw the game for us away. Although it was a own goal it was a great header. Lets hope he can improve on this performance and regain his form comparing to Chelesa game were he was brilliant.Looking forward to him and Vinny's partnership at the back. But he might have lost his starting spot for at least two games. Hope he improves. Good Luck Mangala, shows good promise but must maintain form throughtout the season in the chase for four titles. At least he's got a person to look up too in Kompany.
