Re: Mangala

he is a young lad whom will get better and in the mian i thought he did well today, he took one for the team because of Yaya's screw up

I slated Demi when he joined learnt my lesson give the lad a break and some support he will do the business

I don't understand the criticism aimed at him. I genuinely think he played well against bayern and today. The sending off was all Yaya's fault (although I thought yaya had his best game in a very long time). Give the boy a chance. There is a reason we paid good money for him.
I don't think much criticism comes from City fans. The City knockers probably look at the transfer fee and now that Yaya is back of form, there's no other target.

Re: Mangala

Cant remember the last time I thought Mangala had a bad game. Everyone who didn't see the whole game is going to think he's shit because of the 1/10 and the red card. The lad will be class by February

Re: Mangala

I was watching a lousy stream but it looked like he shielded the ball fair and square, only for his left foot to buckle (maybe caught Shane Long's foot?) and that's why he bundled over onto him, making the whole thing look much worse. I'll have to break my no MOTD rule to get a better look, but if that's what it was then there's no need to let it cloud a good performance and emphasise the "Mangala's usual rash challenges" narrative. Just unlucky.

hull. the only one. the myth began there and propagated

Re: Mangala

Very solid performance today and starting to begin the shoots of looking like the monster we think he will be.

And who knows what would have happened if the idiotic officials had played advantage when he was marauding through their half................now that looked like our Vinny. These 2 will be awesome.

I keep wanting to be impressed by Mangala. But, he is a limited player. He's similar to Micah Richards, but more clumsy, if more athletic. He will have occasional good games, but he's not worth £32 million.

Remind us which player you were totally wrong about last season.

Do you men Fernandinho? I was not totally wrong about him, but I am pleased that he's grown and developed into a solid team asset. Why wasn't I totally wrong about him? Because I said he wasn't a world class superstar and he isn't. He's a very good player and I'm glad we have him. So yes. I underestimated Fernandinho, but I wasn't totally wrong, just half wrong. But, if it makes a better argument to claim I said he was crap, then go ahead. I tend to be a bit of a realist myself.

OK then, too quick to judge...
