Bottom line is,he's gonna be a fuckin monster one day given the chance.Let's hope it's at our club and not hounded out by goons that don't give a player at least a season !

I hear people telling me he's had an awful season and that he's a flop. Where as what I see with my eyes is a player in a new league having a few problems, who just needs more game time and a full pre-season with his team mates.

Absolutely agree. I know this is radical but why dont we give him a bit of time to settle rather than post some of the shit that so called City fans come out with on here.

He's unfortunately been battered by the media due to his price tag. I've seen enough that tells me quim could be a top cb for us if the manager would fucking play him on a regular basis!!!! The chopping and changing of the defence has been ridiculous this season!

I don't think it's just some fans having doubts. Pellegrini watches him every day in training and has benched him a number of times this season. I think it's fair to say he has been no better than a 6 out of 10 so far.

He's got everything to be become a top centre back and I have no doubt alongside Kompany he'll reach his potential, if only we could get a bit more protection for them from the midfield.

Putting things into perspective a bit - of the players he's competing with for a position 1 of them is the captain of the team and the other is a very experienced, reliable centre half (they both happen to be very good footballers). Benching him a number of times is pretty much expected, although I agree that he's been round an about a 6 out of 10 so far (would stretch to 7 myself)

I think he will be better next season and could become a decent player for us. I just dont see him being the world class player that some seem to think. He's 24, not yet at the age when centre backs are at their peak, but the sort of age when you stop talking about potential.

He doesnt seem to me to be particulary good at reading the play and getting himself into the right position, a trait which great centre backs usually have. Even on his good days he seems to make situations more difficultt than they need to be, his body position often being a quarter turn too much or not enough. I just think he should be more advanced at his age if he is really going to be world class.
