I think if he played in a settled back four and improved his discipline, not being drawn out of position then he has a future at City.

I guess we will find out quite quick once Pep arrives, if not before.
 
don't care about today,he was good a few days ago ,today he was tired ?so what,hes not going anywhere,hes built and city have no other defender with that strength so he cant be sold

first half he looked scared each time the ball came near him. Improved in the second but needlessly gave away the corner which led to them scoring. Still prefer him to Dimichelis. Needs to learn that launching it when defending deep and under pressure is no bad thing. As for his control and passing, Silva and KDB weren't any better.

Igahlo has been scoring for fun and he came against a brick wall in Ela. As for the corner, he's tried shepherding it out in the past, only to have the ball nicked off his toes and he got slated for it. Today, he, inadvertently, touches it out (not convinced he got a touch anyway) and he gets slated for it. The kid can't win!!

He's had two tough games in different weather conditions and came up trumps against both in form strikers.

Agreed, I don't have any particular love for Mr Mangala, but I do know we as City fans (as most fans) seem to require a villain, for us it's currently Mangala (mostly)

I remember a certain nervy (limited) Brian Gayle that played for us getting picked on at Maine Road by his own support, his confidence such as it was quickly dissipated due to the groans and in some quarters booing. Booing a Blue, well done you, for your 'support.'

Still pisses me off to this day, hence my reticence to slag off a member of our team.

Anyway, I'm pissed, ignore me and return to script!
 
Like watching Bambi on ice. Whoever sold him to us for "30 big ones" defo couldn't believe their luck.
 
Reading some of the bile on here for a lad who has a good game and then gets dropped if all are fit, plays with a partner who naturally would play left side like him so the CB positions are unbalanced and he has to cover for the invisible left back most of the game, He has the potential to be a great centre back, is first choice for the french national side and trys his hardest(and fucks up at times). But I am not suprised the shit he gets Redmond got it, Edgehill, Kernaghan Goater at first etc. no different now to any other time, It has been decided he's shit and won't get a fair crack till some fans decide he should. I partially blame the manager, he fucks about with the defence and let Deneyere leave plays Kolarov when clichys fit.Mangala has messed up at time but I refuse to give up that he won't come good

I think the pitch was extremely poor today - our close control and passing/lay offs were all over the show
 
I thought he did well tonight. Ighalo was fouling him all night long. Shoved him in the back for the corner which led to their goal and he was doing that repeatedly.
