An awesome option to call upon,he has a superb engine,great strength and decent technical ability - put those attributes alongside his passion and,fitness allowing......we have a cracker of a player.
Pretty sure that's the longest he's played all season without injuring himself, so a warm down was probably a good idea

Hoddle was intoning that his hamstring had gone early in the second half yesterday but he didn't seem injured when he was subbed. Thought he played well and looked a real threat, good link ups with Sterling too.

It did look as though he pulled up a bit to be fair. He carried on though so may have been a slight twinge.
Overall he did ok, and I agree he was always looking to get it into Sterling early so the signs that they could develop a good understanding are promising.
