I was correct. You talk total bollcoks if you believe Pellegrini's view on the matter will be irrelevant.

Surely Soriano will take everyone's views into account (including NYCFC) and then make a decision on whats best for the group.

Yes. He will. Which is why Frank is staying beyond Dec 31st.

We also disagree as to which would be better for the group (a group run with the interest of City at it's very heart) between him being a component in beating Barca and helping City to a title, or going back to nycfc on time.

Happy to agree to disagree on what is best for the group.

I also don't have an issue with an extension until the training camp at the CFA.

But if it was just about whats best for MCFC with no regard for anyone else, given Pellegrini has said that he wants Lampard for the season then that is what you think will happen right?

That is the decision Soriano has to make, yes. And I'm with Pellers.

Can somebody confirm this December 31st loan end date ?
When the loan was first announced it was reported 6 months (from August) a sensible date because it covered Yaya in the ACN, which I am sure was a consideration when the loan was negotiated.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...an-Premier-League-champions-confirm-deal.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...a ... -deal.html</a> --- States end Jan
<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Lampard" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Lampard</a> -- States 6 Months from 3rd August
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/01/frank-lampard-short-contract-manchester-city" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.theguardian.com/football/201 ... ester-city</a>

I think Frank should go to NY when Yaya returns, because anything else will reflect negatively on MCFC and CFG. It is the right thing morally to do.

Any deficiencies that might or might not leave us with can be addressed in the January transfer window.

I just hope Frank goes out on a high with a hat-trick in a 3-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge !!

Re: Frank Lampard

No wonder the Chelsea fans loved him. He's fucking awesome. I didn't realise how much he gives. First time ball to Serge..he latches..goal. I used to vote Gerrard for England, but Frank is just a different quality. He'd be in my Engerland team..not that many get in that!
