Player topic: Frank Lampard (2014/15)

Re: Frank Lampard

Think he should start on Wed along with Yaya/Frenan (whom I feel would play 45 minutes each)

Frank refusing to refer to 'City' or 'us' or 'we', constantly referring to City as 'this club' and 'the side i play for'

doesnt bother me, just keep scoring goals!!

Nah, referred to us as "we" several times in his OS interview, didn't see the Sky one
Yup...appreciated fans on OS too...hope he gets more goals for us

The farewell to the Chelsea fans at the end was brilliant to watch. Kept turning back and clapping them over and over. Clapped the City fans also which was class too.

I can understand him going to the cockney c**ts but for fuck's sake, once you've passed them, acknowledge the fans who are paying your wages.

He acknowledged us after the final whistle. Had you gone home by then mate? Brilliant goal Supet Frank!

Re: Frank Lampard

He was excellent in the 15 mins he was on. Really helped up the tempo after they scored and his goal was classic Lampard. He has been a superb footballer and Pro all his life and respect to him for the way he dealt with that today.

funny as f**k lampard scoring against the chavs , the look on their faces , priceless

I thought pellers had fucked up when fat Frank came on (he looks several pounds short of match fitness IMO), but fair play it paid off......although due in large part to Milner playing on the left and getting a cross in behind the defenders..

Thought he was immense btw, right mid, right back, left mid...fucking brilliant

I'd rather a youth player got given a chance and looked out of depth than watch the 36 year old Lampard do it. It's harsh to judge him after one game but I feel we're only really doing this as a favour to NYCFC. He brings nothing but experience to this squad.

What a dick.

I do stand by the sentiment of this post, if in hindsight it is a little harsh. But what a big goal from Frank, and what a moment singing Super Frank to the smug Chelsea fans. Magic.

Re: Frank Lampard

I think he is a true professional and he showed that today with the way he conducted himself during and after the game.
