Re: Frank Lampard

The only way that there would be something "wrong" with the deal for Lampard to be a City on loan would be if City were not paying his wages but they are.

No way Lampard will not be at NYCFC for the start of the MSL but I would not be surprised if he misses most of their preseason to extend his stay at City beyond 1 Jan.

Arsehole Whinger, says its "immoral".

I was waiting to hear what this fanny had to say and I was a little shocked once I heard the interview.
Now unless my hearing is piss poor I did not hear the words "immoral" ever being used. However the SSN presenter made some comment about Wenger making a comment which "suggested" it was immoral.
SS AGENDA more like and I am not a fan of Whinger, but he may well have been set up on this occasion.

Wenger is really getting on my tits - what the f@#k does it have to do with him? If he's being asked this at a presser why can't he just say he has no comment to make

It is strange that he makes so many comments about Man City. 90% of managers simply say 'im not here to ta;k about other clubs' but for some reason Whinger seems to always have an opinion

Re: Frank Lampard

He loves to give excuses for his and his club's failures. I tend to view such comments as, "We would win the league if they were not cheating".

He tried to appear intelligent by comparing the legal and the moral. Legal systems are based on morality.

As much as I dislike Mourinho, he called it right when he referred to Wenger as a "voyeur".

Re: Frank Lampard

Frank's well on his way to becoming a favourite with the fans this season, regardless of how long he stays.

Not sure why Wenger is so obsessed by us - I suppose it's his fear of not getting that last Champions League spot, but then he ought to be equally as unhappy with Chelsea, Liverpool, Rags.

He should take a leaf out of our Manager and refuse to get sucked into media fuckwits who just want a headline.
Well done to Manuel for basically telling those journalists to "shut the fuck up with your continual questions on other Clubs/Managers and Players.as it has fuck all to do with me".

I agree. I think he says these things to divert attention from the problem in his own camp. There are some fans already getting on his back and were not at the end of September yet..

Some interesting comments at the bottom - same old complaint from the Tarquins!

Lampard Open To Extended City Stay

Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard has suggested he would be open to extending his loan from New York City beyond its current January deadline.

The possibility of the 36-year-old staying in England has been raised after City manager Manuel Pellegrini admitted it was "not impossible" to extend his loan.

New York have made Lampard central to their marketing structure ahead of the new franchise's inaugural MLS season, but it does not start until mid-March, with pre-season training beginning in January.

And Lampard said: “That will obviously be a club decision first and foremost. I wouldn't want to get too ahead of myself. It's not my place to do that.

“I'll just train as hard as I can and play as well as I can - that’s the important thing – then we'll see what happens. I'm signed here until January so that's all I can say at the minute.”

Lampard surpised many by opting to play for another Premier League club and a title-rival to former team Chelsea after a long and illustrious career at Stamford Bridge.

But the former England international said: “It's been an easy transition. I feel good and I'm really enjoying it here.

"It's very different to Chelsea. I was there such a long time that you just go on auto-pilot in the end. You drive in every day, you know everybody behind the scenes.

“But the lads are great, the people behind the scenes have welcomed me; the staff, the manager, Brian Kidd. I didn't have to make this decision but it's good to test yourself in life.”
He comes across so well in interviews and he's always so unfailingly polite. Just goes to show the benefit of a private education.

Just look at me. It takes at least seven pints before I descend into an obnoxious, boorish oaf.

Ok, well four pints.
