At least he got his shot on target, and it was from a difficult angle. Some of the shooting from other players was like watching an amateur team.
 
Navas should never be allowed to hold up the ball or run with it. His job should be 100% to play one-twos with more intelligent players around him and to hit it first time into the box. Basically just get rid of it asap because he is death to any sort of attack otherwise

Any time he spends thinking on the ball is just the time before our attack is utterly wasted because he is clueless.

Ideally he should never be allowed on the pitch, but since Pellegrinni likes him the next best thing is to limit the amount of time he ever touches the ball

The thing with Navas is his positioning is so good that you can see why Pelligrini plays him. It's just infuriating to watch bad cross after cross in the area or in a good crossing position.
 
Navas was excellent today, changed the game when he came on the pitch. If you fail to why navas is needed in this team after this game there is no hope for you. He is faar from the best player in the squad, but he brings unique abilities that is needed when we get stuck in our walking football.
