Very good chance Nacho get his first game action of the season against Watford due to Bony's injury. I hope he nets in his first appearance.

Plus it would do wonders for Pelle's trust in playing youngsters which many feel he doesn't have. Excited for Nacho though.

If it's anyhting north of 3-0 then Nacho has to come on, no excuses.

its always a concern whether talented young players will ever become good enough to play in our outstanding and rapidly improving first team.

yesterday in what was a brief 3 minute cameo, Kelechi Iheanacho proved to me what an outstanding talent he is. i would have no hesitance in putting this lad in one of the strike roles.

this lad is not just a squad player like Lopes

I thought he should've come on for Kun with 10 mins left.

As above, three mins is pointless. Credit to him for working as hard as possible in that cameo though.

He wasn't a timid 18 year old when he came on and I was delighted to see him steam in to Behrami who had been niggling at all our players throughout the game. Would like to have seen more but at 2-0 it probably wasn't feasible. Needs to start vs Sunderland in the league cup

In pellegrini's defence I think they got the substitution ready at about 80 minutes but the ball didn't go out for ages.

We had a corner and Clattenburg signalled for the sub, but Pellers said no - then the ball didn't go out for ages!

He was unlucky as he was getting ready about 10 mins before he did but the way it panned out he couldn't get on!

The thing is he played those 3/4 mins like his life depended on it. It was great to see someone so up for it, we need more of this.

He showed the same determination that he displayed in pre-season. Its excellent to see. He will work tirelessly in that lone striker role and will let the opposition know he is there. Having had someone like Dzeko lead the line before and often amble around it is great to have someone as hungry to succeed as Nacho. The opposition might think their work is done when Aguero is off the pitch but they will be very wrong.
