Pellegrini: Iheanacho must prove why I trust him so much

Blues fans have become frustrated with the youngster's perceived lack of playing time in recent months but the City boss says he has to do more to justify his selection

"When you're a young player and you're part of such an important squad as Manchester City, you must try to learn every day from others players and when you get a chance to try to make the most of that chance," he told the press.

"I think he's working every day, that's why I know he's improving,
he's just 19 years old, that's why he cannot go straight in.

"He must be very happy and take the option to show why he is in the squad and why I trust so much in him that I didn't bring in another players."

If that's a correct quote Pelli should hang his head in shame.

Wouldn't have to prove fuck all or take any of his chances if he cost a bit of money.

I bet the younger players cant wait for him to go.

He's good enough to get a loan move to a premier league club, maybe that's a good step for him. Bring in some veteran striker to watch from the bench instead
