Saw something on sky sports news last night, it was a press conference but it was definitely Ian Cheesemans voice asking the question, am I the only only one who heard it? (Been working long hours lately, starting to doubt what I heard, but must have been yesterday's press conference??)

No yeah you're right mate just watched part 1 of the press conference MP definitely does say we can recall Jason back. Would be an absolute disgrace quite honestly if we don't.

Has he really said all this. Surely not?
I know ric doesn't think it constructive calling Pellegrini and old **** but that comment is just fucking bollocks from Pellegrini. If he's good enough, he's old enough. If Sterling had been at City, he still wouldn't have broken through. He's going in the summer, which is good, I just hope Nacho doesn't fuck off at the same time.

I'm not sure Nacho going out on loan is a wise choice. With our main striker having long term injury issues, our back-up striker being pretty naff, puts Nacho as third choice. If he goes out on loan, we would definitely have to buy in another striker, which would only shove Nacho even further down the list.

I don't agree with MP not picking him, I personally feel Nacho is good enough to play second striker, although the post @Tugay One Cup #1376 does make sense.

I hope Nacho gets a run out today, and uses it to make a point that MP can't miss.
If Bony is playing to simply keep his value up then our club is fucked. We should be playing the best player to win a game.

It really begs the question why we have not already done it? Maybe Jason was appalled at signing that new contract and thinking he was going to be part of the squad and then being loaned out?

I'm really annoyed at those comments. This is coming from the manager of a club who have just spunked £50,000,000 on a 20 year old, a direct result of his development through constant game time at Liverpool. How is Iheanach supposed to shine in the last two minutes of the game? To be fair to him, he's done as much as he can. Had a goal wrongly chalked off vs Newcastle, won the match at Palace, got the winner vs Swansea, played really well when given more time in the cup.

Manuel is wrong in his comments, he must show some faith in Iheanacho who has won games to save his bacon.

Bang on that.

This only works if he is prepared to play him
I think without aguero and bony he still wouldn't play him
So may as well loan him out
Pelligrini is too stubborn to take a risk
That's why Jose and pep are rated higher. They at least try things
Although even Jose fell on his sword this time for sticking with dross players

If both quotes are correct:

1) What he says about Kelechi is just depressing.
2) If you were Denayer, would you even want return for the rest of the season? His expectation would be to be used only if Komps and Mangala were out and one of Ota or Martin fell over.

Mr P really should be told to make more effort with the kids. Not necessarily to play them every week but give the lads good reason for optimism. Isn't this an example of when a Director of Football needs to moderate?

Got the winner v Swansea? Bit of a stretch that one. He knew nothing about it.

Looks a cool finisher and would like to see him given more game time but you get the feeling he's going to have to do something really special to jump ahead of Bony in the manager's reckoning.
