Keeper

Sagna Komp Otamendi Clichy

Navas/KDB Delph Dinho Sterling

Nacho

Aguero

Would be my strongest 11 right now.

Kolarov has to be LB, offers way more width and attacking play than Clichy. Dinho and Delph should be our CM pairing at all. Much rather have Toure than Delph.

Apparently there's a dispute between two parties as to who is the lad's agent;

Perhaps Pellers knows how good this kid is but isn't playing him regularly because he doesn't want to alert the football world until we have him properly signed him up to a long term contract?

I think the footballing world knows plenty about the kid. It was rumoured that Spuds have already sent out feelers for him.

He was player of the tournament at the U17 World Cup for Nigeria in 2013, who went on to win it. Every top team will have had their scouts going crazy about him. The whole world is aware of Kelechi and will have been tracking him ever since.

He also had the benefits of playing week in and out at a lower league. Hardly the same

If he never actually played at all for Spurs but spent all his time on the bench, nobody would know if he was any good. If he then spent a season or two in that situation, when he did eventually get on the pitch, he would be under huge pressure to perform or be sent back into obsurity. If he then didn't perform very well & was indeed sent back into the wilderness, it could easily cause him, the fans & the club to lose confidence in his ability. If he was then sent to a lower league team, he could then accept that as his level & have a career reflecting that.

Imo that is a common situation with promising kids in this country & many disappear. We are doing that right now to a whole bunch of them imo. Some need us to help them 'make it' .

We seem to have the attitude that they have to 'force' their way in. Imo most of City's best players over the years wouldn't have made it unde those circumstances. Nor Utd's for that matter.

I believe this will change when the manager goes, but I trusted that when Mancini went & wws utterly wrong so..

Good for you. You're wrong though. Dinho is the first name on the sheet after Aguero.

This contract issue is definitely true and ongoing, he has tried to move his representation to the same agent as Gareth Bale.
