WTF? Been with us 2 minutes and some soft-arse comes on here saying 'we best prepared for when real madrid come calling?' We havent let yaya, aguero or silva go in the years they have been with us and I fully except us to keep him for years to come (signed a 6 year deal) and to see kevin still here when the likes of silva, aguero and most definitely toure move on.

I am not concerned that we risk loosing him to Real, what does concern me is that someone who can claim to be a City fan would come on here and say such a thing and then get all arsey about people pulling him up on it
Ridiculous isn't it,I he's only signed for us and some see him off to Madrid, although if he did go it won't be before aguero heads that way first ;-)

He's 5 games into a 6yr contract so I wouldn't worry about him going, or clubs bidding for him any time soon

We've managed to keep Aguero, Silva, Kompany etc so there is no reason to think we won't keep De Bruyne

This is said every season and it never is.

i'll be happy with the 6 years he would of had with us when he leaves (2017).

The squad would need a revamp either through the academy and buying/selling players so we will see some of the 'original team' start to leave starting january.

navas, nasri, toure, clichy and/or kolarov, demichelis (came in abit later).

angelino, maffeo, gunn, barker, garcia all to start coming through in the next 2 years imo.

We've promoted kelechi and he will either prove to be as pivotal and clinical as aguero has been with another 2 years experience if all goes well for his development ready for him to really be the main man upfront (unless we already buy a striker of aguero's quality by then).

We are building a structure for the future not just a team of all-stars

The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to feel like he's the best player on our team. Real will be coming at some point and I hope we're prepared.
How much preparation is required to put together an email saying he's not for sale? Maybe we should employ a specialist email writer just in case.

It's more than that. We have to keep him happy. That means doing well in Europe, making him feel like a valued player and satisfying his salary demands.

Genuinely on form he is one of the 10 best players in the world.

We have the third best squad in Europe. Is such a shame people have this inferiority complex with us, we're one of the best sides in the world, with an owner and chairman who don't accept failure. We pick the best players off other teams, not the other way around.
