None of Navas' "let me take a few touches, make a few feints and break down the whole intricately built up attack", none of Sterling's passing the buck, straight in taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Keeping the ball ticking over, always picks the right pass, thinking of the tempo of the side, of building towards the key chance/goal.

Absolute no nonsense, everything has a purpose.

A proper, proper player.

Exactly!

At no point did I want to shout "pass the fooking ball!" cos he's seen what I'd seen already! Sure, he's no Silva, who'll get a ball in a tight situation and you can't see his next pass, but we don't want another Silva, we want direct and he's everything we've wanted as City fans!

I find myself saying "I can't believe it!" when he picks out a forward pass, straight off, as I'm so used to the team zigzagging its way forward! LOL!

Let's just hope Silva is fit for the next game, so KDB can start on the right and do his interchange thing with El Mago!

He was superb. Really looking forward to seeing him develop in the next few years, think we have a diamond.

A bonus will be what a twat Maureen will look for letting him go so cheaply, or indeed, for letting him go at all. Hope he rips the Chavs up at the Bridge this season.

"He's here, he's there, he's every-fuckin-where Kev De Bruyne, Kev De Bruyne"

Great game by KDB today - at one point I could have sworn there were three KDB's on the pitch

He's just the complete attacking midfielder.

Wouldn't be surprised if he quickly became our best and most valuable player.

He's the real deal. Good on our scouts.
