I'm sure he said a couple of months last time and it was barely one month.

agreed , but isn't messi short as well...anyway hope kun recovers well !

I wouldn't say Messi has the same explosive acceleration than Aguero or Owen but that's for another day.

Hope he's back for Barca

What? Messi is easily one of the quickest accelerators in world football! He would leave Aguero behind.

You see the run Aguero made against Spurs, when he hit the post. Messi does that 3 or 4 times a game, all through his literally explosive acceleration.

'Literally explosive' - no wonder defenders don't want to go near him...

Re: Sergio Aguero

Well, we still don't know how bad the injury is. Aguero surely wasn't going to figure in the upcoming Chelsea-match anyway, nor the two games that follow to try and make sure there's very little chance of a recurrence.
I hope he will be fit and ready for the Barcelona-game. Maybe like Zabaleta, we might slightly risk him for the odd 90min., than give him another rest.

People saying we won't miss Aguero because we have been scoring and winning without him. Clearly you don't understand how important this man is to our team. Him, Kompany and Yaya (if he's up for it) are simply players you can't replace with the same standard. Aguero is to us what Messi is to Barcelona, Ronaldo to Real, or Ibrahimovitch to Paris. So him being out is very bad news.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Brilliant world class player but shame he seems to get injured quite a bit. Just when he was hitting top form again this happens :(

Anyone think he rushed himself back from the initial injury too fast?

Yes like Kompany admitted too doing... I have no doubt Kun will be involved in the game against Barca at home he will crawl over broken glass to play in that game..

Re: Sergio Aguero

A disaster. We just have to consider ourselves lucky that we have unbelievable depth and we know that we can cope while he is missing. Wishing sergio a speedy recovery.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Gutted. Every game we seem to get hampered by a big injury to one of our key players. I know they are two different sorts of player (obviously) but with Nasri already out and now Aguero joining him it's a lot of creativity missing. Our movement, getting into right positions and generally dictating play will be a lot harder without any of those two available.

I think Aguero using the word precaution has made me feel even more dissappointed than I would normally be. I kinda had it in my head that he was ok and might even be available for Monday or failing that the following week. Obviously that's not the case and I shouldn't have got my hopes up!

Monday night is our biggest game of the season yet by an absolute mile and it will be difficult anyway, never mind without Aguero or Nasri.

He's that good there are bits of him everywhere ;)
