Another case of rushing back for an important event/match AKA how Liverpool ruined Torres' career (but suckered Chelsea into paying £50m for him).
Even next summer he won't get a break due to Copa America. It's just constant football now and players can't recover properly.

The club should send him off to see a specialist as soon as they can.This is ridiculous and the amount of games he`s had to go off is worrying for all.He either needs a proper rest of weeks rather than days or some form of surgery.I`m no bloody medical expert but if I was Sergio,I would make it a priority now to seek help.

He literally cannot play 3 games in a row anymore without doing a muscle. Can't even say he was rushed back either as he hardly took part in the last few games before he had a break before meeting up with the national team. Really concerning this the last thing we need is a new Santa Cruz.

He needs it and we will be better for it. The likes of Jovetic and Negredo will be fully rested and chomping at the bit to get going.
Liverpool showed they could cope without Suarez for the first seven games of last season and we are far better stocked in the striker department.
The player that I think needs a good rest is Silva. He seems to have played continuously with the Euros etc in the last few years. He also seems to be carrying an ongoing ankle problem.
Of course whether we can manage without him is another matter entirely.
I certainly think Pellegrini might try re Silva, with Nasri kicking his heels all summer.
It could well be an unusual starting line-up at the start of the season IMO.
Sagna for Zabaleta and Fernando for Fernandinho.
At least we have plenty options.

Look its worrying for sure but lets not right him off for the next season just yet off the back of an injury that may well be nothing.
That said, its imperative we manage him and ensure he only plays for us when he is absolutely 100%. That's why we have a big squad.
