Re: Sergio Aguero

Is he injured?

On 5Live after the match they claimed he was holding his hamstring and that Pellegrini had asked him if he wanted to come off just before the equaliser. Must admit I hadn't noticed it.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Aguero has been brilliant as he has been so often. Very much worth the money we've paid for him.

But the media stating we are now a one man team. Probably the next item to try and derail us. Recently we've had not playing British players, team growing too old, our stadium not selling out, and you will see it'll be City one man team covering for the next few weeks.

Pff, why bother anymore. Honestly.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Not a club out there who can either afford him or guarantee him a start every week.

Barca have their transfer ban and Madrid would never go public with a bid, because of the relationship between them and Abu Dhabi.

Madrid's transfer policy is to unsettle a target in the public domain, so they can't do that with Aguero. No doubt Isco, Bale, the kitchen sink would all be names thrown out there to stir the pot.

We don't need the money, he don't need the money, he was born to play for this club and form his own legend.

What we need to do is show we are always moving forwards.

In a nutshell. Aguero should win the Champions League with this club, and with it cement his place amongst the great strikers of modern football. We need to make sure that everyone behind him is just as capable of achieving that goal.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Was the booking he picked up his 2nd in this years Champs league and does that mean he is suspended for the Roma game ?

It was his second but he's not suspended:

22.01 As a rule, a player who is sent off the field of play is suspended for the next
match in a UEFA club competition.
The Control and Disciplinary Body is
entitled to augment this punishment. For serious offences the punishment can
be extended to all UEFA competition categories.
22.02 In case of repeated cautions:
a) before the group stage, a player is suspended for the next competition
match after three cautions in three different matches, as well as after the
fifth caution;
b) from the first match in the group stage, a player is suspended for the next
competition match after three cautions in three different matches, as well
as following any subsequent odd-numbered caution (fifth, seventh, ninth,

etc.).
22.03 Single yellow cards and pending suspensions are always carried forward
either to the next stage of the competition or to another club competition in the
current season.
22.04 Exceptionally, all yellow cards and pending yellow-card suspensions expire on
completion of the play-offs. They are not carried forward to the group stage.
22.05 Cautions and pending yellow-card suspensions from club competition

Yaya and Fernandinho are available as well.

Best City player ever ?

Yes with Silva not far behind. Aguero is one of them who just never has a bad game. Easily the best striker in the world right now. He'd be amongst Messi and Ronaldo and get similar attention if he was in an easier league and score even more.
