Have a lot of respect for TH and he obviously has connections to people who know people who have connections to the club however with respect I don't pay too much attention or hang my hat on some of the info re possible outcomes both involving transfer and injury updates he reports on.

Even the player themselves don't always know for sure but tend to be a bit optimistic.

I would say we are conservative in terms of players muscle injuries for sure as the squad is in theory at least geared to cope with some players being out for sometime.

Unfortunately for the likes of VK , Kun and a couple of others it appears to have little impact on the length of time they will be available until their next injury comes about.

Let's not count chickens. It won't be the first time a player has tweeted positive updates about injuries and then missed games. Joe did it after the juventus game. If he is fit I would like to see him get 30 mins against Hull as I think he needs the game time and we need him somewhere near his best for a tough run of fixtures. I think TH posts in good faith but I do hope he is wrong on this one.

Joe isn't on twitter as far as I know

Happy he is fit again for stoke hopefully ! but we do need another striker not to replace him but in addition

Our physio's are clearly doing something wrong.

Maybe someone at City suggested the 'out for some time' story to someone inside the club to see if it would leak?

In the league winning season of 2013/2014 all 3 of Komps, Silva and Aguero only started 6 leagues games at the same time out of the 38. We won all 6 of those games scoring 23 goalls in the process.

Completely different story in 2014/2015. All 3 started at the same time in 17 league games and the results were shit. We won just 6 of those 17 games, drawing 4 and losing 7.

This year just 3 games winning all 3.

Well, that's "Typical City" stats, lol.

Aguero hints at Man City exit: I won't sign a new dea

"I will return to Independiente when my contract with City expires.

"I do not want to make my comeback when I am too old. If everything goes well, I will return to the club of my heart at the age of 31."

Aguero became the youngest player to debut in Argentina's Primera Division during his time at Independiente at 15 years and 35 days.

He made over 50 appearances for the club between 2003 and 2006.

Not too bothered by that, i have every faith he'll see out his contact and at 31 he won't be the same player. Strikers, especially those like Aguero tend to be over the hill by then.

If thats what he wants to do i respect that a hell of a lot.

Absolutely no chance he will go back to argentina at 31

edit - on second thoughts, I suppose tevez has at 31? Still seems less likely that Aguero would. People have been saying aguero will be leaving as soon as he's got here but he'll have been here 5 years by the end of the season. Just see how it pans out I'm not particularly worried about him leaving and if he does I'm still not worried at this stage
