I thought he did fine today, made some good runs and passes, most important thing now is for him to stay fit and get a run of games. Whoever was criticising his work rate needs a shake, lad's had injury problems and is just back from a hamstring strain and people want him chasing every lost cause back from an attacking position? Behave.

He's confused me this season. He's played like he's not on the same wavelength as his teammates at times. Things like playing for a one-two, he'll run the opposite way to where Silva/Nasri/whoever pass it back to him; or he'll look to take it into the box and then slip a sideways pass to where nobody is expecting it.

But his movement is top notch and when he finally clicks in this team he'll be a useful squad player.

Still got high hopes for the lad. He's got plenty of quality, just needs to know when to release the ball and when to hold on to it as he can be guilty of getting it wrong. Today was one of those days where he seemed to make the wrong choice more often than not and the groans from the crowd couldn't have helped him. Hopefully stays fit and gives us an option from the bench ( once Aguero is back) for games which need stretching.

Adebayor used to get the same benefit of the doubt back in the day. Never going to be the player city hoped he would become. Work rate is really poor at times as well, even when it's him who has gave the ball away. Don't think many clubs would be kicking the door down to buy him in any case so he'll probably be here for a while yet. Bit part player is all he'll ever be for us.

I agree.

Stick him on on the bench each match and hopefully he will turn into a super sub.

He wasn't great today. Surely he is told to play the striker role yet he persists in dropping deep.

He was partly to blame for their goal and gave the ball away way too much.

He was deservedly subbed.

If you think Mangala was to blame you obviously didn't see Boyata 5 yards out of line playing the wideman onside and then running away from the goalscorer rather than leaving Mangala to deal with things out wide.
