Even if Denayer could come back, let's not kid ourselves he'd get a game unless every other option was completely exhausted . Next season will be that lads season.

If he misses most of the season but then plays in the Euros I'll be fucking fuming.
He should never have played for Belgium last time, going against the manager and club.
Sadly, we need to start planning for a future without him which means we need more and better cover than we already have. Let's hope Denayer comes back and plugs the hole but it's a big ask given that Demichellis needs replacing too and Mangala has hardly inspired confidence, yet.
But the bigger issue is leadership. We have no one currently who is capable of leading the team and club like Vinnie does/did.

I think we could be writing him off too soon,let's just wait and see I get the feeling he could be to eager to get back and with our problems in defence it's making that even more so...Be better than our current one!

He's our leader and bleeds blue, some of the comments on this thread are disgraceful, especially questioning his commitment. Either have short memories or completely deluded.
Heartbreaking seeing him come off, you could see how gutted he was. I hope we get to the bottom of this problem and he comes back stronger than ever.
