You can't judge a player before he's even started a game!

Bony is one of the best strikers in the league, his goal record backs that up.

He'll score a lot of goals for us and be a good signing.
Providing he manager plays him.

At the moment I don't think Pellegrini has ay grasp or control over what is going on.

Bony should have been the spearhead of our team from the first available moment.

I don't think anybody expected Dzeko's form in the last 3 games.

Against Newcastle, starting Dzeko with Bony on the bench seemed ok to me. Easing Bony in a little. Dzeko has gone on to score 3 in his last 3 (after not scoting in 17 games) so he kind of has to play.

Bony will get a run of games soon, no doubt about it.

I was having a think about this yesterday and the whole 'if we play Bony/dzeko then we have to play 4-4-2' lark.

No true
, I believe if Pelle wants to play either Bony or Dzeko with Aguero, he should be doing the following:

----------Bony/Dzeko----------
Aguero-------------------Silva
----Yaya---Milner---Dinho--

As a 4-3-3, Aguero is more than capable of playing in this role ala Messi, Neymar and Suarez for Barcelona. I know people think this may nullify Sergio's goal but it will mean he practically has a free role and cutting in from the left on his right foot is perfect.

For me the team I have put above is what he should play at barca away and the one we have the best chance with. At home he can then go with 4-4-2 if wanted or in Europe at home, go with 4-2-3-1, like this:

----------Bony/Dzeko----------
Silva------Aguero--------Nasri
-------Yaya-------Dinho-----------

This makes us much more compact in the midfield and helps us keep the ball better, something we have struggled with of late, or If Barca/Real/Bayern are in town we go:

----------Aguero----------
Milner----Silva-----Nasri
------Yaya------Dinho-----

Extra man in midfield will bring even more stability but also means we have enough to hit them on the break.

These 3 formations/systems give us the best stability and also should be the basis for moving forward. Buy players to play this formation/system and we will start going places again. This gives us Plan A, B and C. even a Plan D if he really wants to go 4-4-2.

This is in no way a 'Football Manager' type post either, this is reality

Completely agree on this, I think that 433 (4-5-1 when defending) with Dzeko/Bony up top is the best way to play. Both of them are target man and this would also suit Kun because he would get more space and could run at the defenders. For me it would be like this:

----------Bony/Dzeko----------
Aguero ------------------- Silva
----Milner--Fernandinho---Yaya--

But if we do stick to classic 4-4-2 I don't really see why we signed Bony, he is the same type of player as Dzeko, personally for me Dzeko is better, as someone mentioned before put Dzeko in Swansea let him play every game and he'll easily score 20+ every season. Feel we should have signed a different type of forward, Benzema type of player, or wait for summer and see our options. Nothing against Bony he could come good but not much difference compared to Dzeko, who already proved himself.

Wilfried's first start today and there are no comments at all? What gives?
Thought he did well for a player still getting used to the way we play and the idea of two strikers. Probably should have had a goal on a couple of his attempts. Almost created something out of a corner.

He tried hard and created problems throughout the game for Leicester's defense who looked like they told their men to mark Kun out of the game.

Just needs one to go in. Thought he snatched at that chance in the first half after being played in by Silva, seemed a bit anxious which is understandable. He did well overall though and hopefully a partnership with Kun can start to blossom soon.

I thought he tried hard and got into some good positions. His finishing was poor though and he got in Kuns way too many times. He looks like it will take him some time to get used to how we play.

I didn't like kuns body language tonight. He looked really unhappy tonight especially when taken off.

Needs that first goal to go in and then he will really improve. Against Newcastle he looked a bit nervous and I think it will take time for him to truly settle in. A goal will help no end though and it needs to happen soon for us to kick on and go on a winning run.

I thought he did ok, but was anxious with the finish as other people have said already. I do like the way he can hold up the ball, something I think Edin can struggle with from time to time (poor first touch). I do like Edin though and I think when on his game is probably a better strike than Bony. I think having Dzeko and Bony rotating is great and I noticed that Aguero played slightly deeper last night as I mentioned in my previous post

he is trying to hard to score just needs to play his game and let it happen but if you look at the setup at Manchester city you will many chances with silva and yaya finding you. so bony just let it happen and the fans will take to you
