Bony played well last night and was unlucky not to score.

He looked a little anxious and possibly tried a little too hard, which is understandable on his first start.

It's worth remembering he always played as a lone striker at Swansea, so playing as a partnership will take a little getting used to.

Convinced he'll go on to score a load of goals for us. Really good striker.

Really impressed with him yesterday, hold up play was good and unlucky not to score one or two. His movement on the shoulder of defenders is also great, made a couple of good runs which weren't picked out by others but they'll come. His misses yesterday were probably due to nerves, could tell he was snatching at them. Once he settles I'm confident he'll be scarily good.

Totally confident he will be great for us next season, he's just going through the usual teething troubles you can expect with him playing a new system with better players. Once the first goal goes in watch him go..!

What's reassuring is that unlike Adebayor, you can clearly see that the quality is there.
Bony will prove to be a tight signing, i am pretty sure of this.

Adebayor not quality? Unplayable when he fancies it, thought we had signed a cracker up until the Arsenal game. Just a pity he never fancied it since and turned into the proverbial mercenary, you can say a lot of things that he lacks, but quality isn't one of them

He already seems to be able to offer us more than Dzeko and Jovetic this season, he was unlucky not to score last night but pellers needs to give him a run of games now and as soon as he gets a goal he should start banging them in.

I mean, i always saw Adebayor as a poorman's poacher, not a striker with an overall high class skill set or hold up play..
Bony is in the vein of those players such as Drogba ( but still, galaxies bellow, honestly ) : powerful and skillful.

He was awful total dogshit he was slow and looked overweight but please keep on with the Bony love in. An absolute waste of fucking money.

Hoping it'll come for him. If he was guilty of anything last night, it was trying too hard. That led to him taking up the positions of other players when he should have been doing his own thing. In Aguero's 5 yards of spaces too often and almost blocked Navas having a shot when he was played in over the top (and was wrongly given offside).

Looked dangerous though, needed one of those attempts to nestle in the net.
