The game time he has played for us tells me he has already changed how he was playing for swansea and that also tells me he will be a flop! He now passes in a goal scoring position instead of having a shot from the 20 yard mark!

There's jumping the gun then there's taking the piss.

He's played once.

I'll give him another 20 full games to assess his play ;) I'm sure he'll be a big hit.. I was just testing being a knee jerk poster, it's not for me..

Yup... it smacks of premature ejaculation

Times are tough ATM ... he'll come good (pardon the pun)

I agree that he isn't a technical striker like Aguero and Dzeko (who if he was a foot shorter would be seen in totally different terms based on his game), but he isn't the New Shaun Goater as some have made him out.

He's a decent player technically and has that ability to do the astonishing which is always valuable. In his natural game he's a goalscoring powerhouse.

Good replacement for Negredo in my opinion, like for like swap.
My goldfish has better technical ability than dzeko and I don't even have a goldfish

He'd be smaller than SWP if that were case and is as much a technical striker as Aguero, as Titus Bramble is as technically sound a defender as Cannavaro.

Dzeko has great technical ability outside his first touch. In particular his ability to spot and execute extremely difficult passes are next to Silva and Nasri in our squad.

Just because he doesn't get chance to do something a lot doesn't mean he is incapable of doing it

He doesn't get to do it much because his first touch tends to lead to a tackle or losing the ball completely. You would have to give me some examples as to why he's capable of these extremely difficult passes, especially if they deserve him being mentioned with Silva.

Is that after he has lost the ball?

Sorry Damo but he has an eye for goal, his record tells us that but technically he is dire for the most part im afraid.

Still reminds me of that steaming pile of shit Benjani we bought during sven's reign. Really hope he can pull his tripe out and prove me wrong but he appears to be looking a bad panic buy.

His game is nothing like Benjani and the only similarity they have is that they are both black and have crap hair.

And a fucking shit dance.

Think he just needs a run of games.

Why bother buying him if you don't play him?

Would have him in the side before Dzeko at the moment.

Having said that I Don't want him starting tonight play Aguero on his own then bring Bony on with half an hour to rough them up.

Totally agree. He did more good stuff against Burnley in 2 minutes than Dzeko had done all game.
