Re: Player topic: Yaya Toure (2014/15)

Any coincidence that yaya looks uninterested and nasri has kicked off and is not getting picked? Big mates these two arent they?

A great player who doesn't kiss the badge enough for some. Would be a massive loss.
Judge him when he's not had a World Cup and an ACON.

Seriously?

Re: Player topic: Yaya Toure (2014/15)

He's been out best player for years, scored very important goal and can dominate games

However following last season he has been to the WC, AN, is a year older and has been partnered with Fernando! He's been hung out to dry by the managers formation and lack of tactical awareness - if Yaya is sold, he will have another 3yrs at the top when the team he goes to has players to do the leg work and let him get on with what he is good at

Clearly that's not the case now but you underestimate the loss of Yaya at your peril imo

Agreed, multiple relegations on the horizon once he goes. Makes you wonder how every other top club in the world wins anything without having Yaya in their side.

We were equally as shit without him in January.

He is not the problem. He wasn't even that bad the other night. We totally dominated the midfield. It was Aguero and Dzeko who were the biggest culprits.

Pellegrini is the main problem. The sooner we sack him the better.

I hope he stays for another season, he's arguably the best player in the PL & for what we would get for him, we wouldn't be able to buy anyone who could replace him.

The fact that we haven't even made any attempt to plan for this is the most laughable part.

Since de Jong left we have signed Garcia, Rodwell, Fernandinho and Fernando with Lampard on loan in central midfield. Never going to rule Europe with signings like that. None of them are a patch on Yaya at his prime. In fact only Fernandinho comes close now.

Even if we did manage to sign say Pogba, what's the chances of him coming in and slotting straight in?

Where has anyone said that !? The difference of opinion rises from those who believe Yaya still has a number of years left at the top, like me, and those that don't.

I just simply dont see any merit or benefit letting him go for relative buttons in today's money. What the above proves is the complete and utter hypocrisy of the media in this country. Apparently only two and a half months ago we couldn't win without him, now he's old and over the hill - and that is less than a year after being by far and away the best midfielder in the premiership.

Add to, don't replace, Yaya Toure and we could be formidable.

Slim!!

Only City would consider selling Yaya, we need to build a team around him, not fuck him off and replace him with Wiltshire and/or Henderson!!
