I see his agent is on the warpath again, having a pop at Pellegrini, Soriano and Begiristain:

Nailed on he's gone this year now.

No coming back from that

I felt the same about last summer's comments (didn't think he could come back from them) but you're right. Nailed on he's gone this summer.

If I were Begiristain I'd instruct Pellegrini not to pick him again this season.

The agent is supposed to look out for the player's interests but Yaya's agent just makes life difficult for him.

And even more difficult for the club......and yet Yaya,an apparently intelligent man....continues to employ him.......go figure.

There maybe a contractual problem with that as he never gets dropped no matter how shit he is.

Spot on. leave him out and get whatever deal done asap behind the scenes.

If we play him after that article it sends the message to them all they can do whatever the fuck they like.

A great myth but patently nonsense. Toure has been picked week in and week out for five years now by two totally different managers not because of contractual requirements but because they have both built midfields around him.

However his time's up.

Let's not forget he's our Captain now with Vinnie out for the season!
Can we really "have it" that the captains agent is laying into the club, albeit some of his comments are spot on.

In a nutshell been undermining the club to get his move since cake gate

I have no symparhy for players who throw their toys out of their prams, I have to say though that since the club threw yaya, Dzeko and nasri under the bus I have been expecting something like this to happen.

In hindsight he is actually the reason we lost out in Europe under Mancini for two seasons - most of the vital goals scored against us exploited the space behind YaYa as he shambled back from an upfield jaunt. Especially against good teams.

We've conceded a lot of goals in Europe because he doesnt track his man. In open play which IMO is partly a tactical issue and on set pieces which imo is inexcusable.

Would love to go through each of the goals we've conceded in Europe and analyse Yaya's role.

Having said that he's been a great player for us and the positives far outweigh the negatives (not so much this season).

But he's made it clear how little he thinks of us as a club. So thanks for the memories Yaya but kindly fuck right off and take your gobshite agent with you.
