Yaya has played a significant part in something like six of our last nine league goals and you reckon it has all disappeared and he is no longer the threat he was. I assume that picture that you posted earlier was a self portrait.

Stop focusing on goals scored, consider defensive play.

You stupid pillock; what's defending got to do with me responding to your comment that Yaya is not the threat he was?

Erm, because he plays at the back? (As instructed)

The argument was fuelled by rags, and has been ended by Yaya on the pitch.

Eh?

Stop trying to defend the indefensible otherwise you come across as a rag. Yaya is still only 31, young in today's footballing terms where players like giggs can go on until 38, scholes similarly.

Just admit it, you were fickle, just like many others on this thread, keen to attack a player who offended you because his agent dared to try and negotiate a better contract after having been proven as one of the best midfielders in world football the previous season.

You need to read my posts in this thread and stop making stuff up.

Re: Yaya?

Much improved the last few weeks, he's been very good.

Back to his best, working a lot harder aswell IMO.

Re: Yaya?

Ya Ya was superb last night, as were the others, but Ya Ya was doing what he does better than anyone else in the game; never more than 5 yards away from the City player in possession, always giving support and making himself available, moving the ball on quickly when given it, changing the direction of attack and so on and so on. On Sunday he made a bad mistake, but for many of us on here that was never allowed to distort the superb overall contribution he made to an excellent performance and victory. Unfortunately, for others they don't remember the good he does, but never forget the odd mistake. In Sergio we have the best striker in the world at the moment: in Ya Ya we have the best all round midfielder (and have had for several seasons).
