Could be that he felt a slight groin injury during the WBA game and the manager felt the next game was coming too quickly and left him out.

More than likely this.

And Yaya's tweet is more than likely an attempt to quell the speculation regarding him being injured.

The fuckwittery on here is incredible at times.

That's how I see it. Quite likely the tweet was posted with the full agreement and blessing of Pellegrini

Give over, completely undermines his post match comment. No idea if its yaya posting it, but its more of the same bullshit we got in the summer, stirring shit that doesn't need stirring.

We really missed yaya on Sunday, as we will the next 5 or 6 weeks, but this summer I'd f*ck him off, and find a good replacement.

Re: Yaya?

Pellegrini didn't say he was injured. He said he was rested to prevent an injury.......pretty obvious that this is the case as a manager missing his forwards is not going to drop his main goal scoring threat unless he has good reason.

Somebody is shit stirring, and not for the first time, we wouldn't rest a player for the acn, so either Yaya reported a minor injury, or he didn't, but someone isn't telling the truth, and either way this tweet undermines the manager, and that's not a good situation.

"Yaya felt a problem at the beginning of the last game against West Bromwich. He was not 100% so I think it was not good for him to play. It is a muscle injury in his groin."

Re: Yaya?

Odd that he felt the need to put his buisness out their, is he pissed that he was rested? If he was he should of been proffesional and kept it to himself,

Re: Yaya?

Our greatest ever player but he'll never be regarded as such. Somewhere there's a screw lose, he's either tried to orchestrate a move or he's employing a parasite as his agent and backing him.

This is a bit of a non story in itself but it's all too frequent nowadays. On behalf of the majority of City fans can we please sign Pogba in the summer, even if he's the only player brought in an ideal scenario Yaya stays.

You serious? He is brilliant no doubt, but greatest ever? Bit overzealous with the praise there I reckon.

Pogba though would be a fantastic signing as you say, I wonder how realistic it is though.
