Re: bye bye yaya

Should've got rid as soon as this "Birthday cake" row started. Maybe there was nobody else available. Get rid, soon as for me.

Re: Yaya?

need a sense of perspective i think.

we are 5 games into the season. the kid hasn't had a proper pre-season under his belt and he should be up to the levels that he showed last season?

let's be honest, last season was a stellar season for Yaya, probably the best he's ever had and probably wont have a season like that again.

Whether he wants to be here or not after 'Birthdaygate' is beside the point. He kid lost his brother a few months ago, that's got to affect him mentality, it will change him as a person and a footballer. The kid will still be grieving, so I'm of the opinion that we, the fans, should be supporting him and let him find his way without the boo-boys giving him shit.

If he isn't right, mentality, then its down to the coaching staff and the club to recognise that and act appropriately for the player, no one else.

If by January and there is no improvement, or there is a clear sign that its jut that he doesnt want to play for the club, then deal with it then. its too early to get on his back, support the guy until there is real concern about him that is detrimental to the team.

As far as i'm concerned, its early season form for the whole team isnt stunning, yet not poor. It's been a tough start, tougher than anything i can remember at the start of a season and we've got easier days to come. Try not let emotions after a tough game cloud the realism of the moment, and support the boys. CTID!

Re: Yaya?

While I thought Yaya was poor tonight, I'm not yet panicked. But if, as was mention, this lasts till January, it will already be far too late.

Re: Yaya?

We had Gary Cook at our MCDSA meeting on Monday, Cook said when we bought Yaya from Barca he was bored and wanted a new challenge. I now think hes board at City. He had a wonderful season last year, 20 odd goals, probably thinks thats as far he can go with us. Should say thanks and goodbye, would love to see Ramsey replace him

Re: bye bye yaya

Fernando steps into his shoes, end of problem

Thank you Yaya for what you have done for the world wide recognition of MCFC, you were a huge part of our recognition

Enjoy the rest of your career at whatever level, knowing that you were part of the rise of MCFC

Re: Yaya?

Lol I'm not really sure why so many people are surprised with his performance today. Looked like the same old Yaya to me. Bayern just exposed his weaknesses and limited his strengths. Asked to do a little too much defending for his liking. The nando-dinho combo will allow yaya to do what he wants, which is to attack and nothing else. Incredibly selfish player... Complete opposite to the man he left hanging on countless occasions - the man who literally put everything he had on the line at almost every opportunity. Fernandinho MOTM tonight, imo

Re: Yaya?

I thought it was incredible that Pellergrini left Yaya on. He was sat up in the stands and could see what we saw a man so unfit, technically woeful and not a bit bothered to put any effort in. Of course I'm blaming yaya for his performance but Pellers has to take responsibility for the defeat tonight. He did absolutely nothing about the amount of space the Bayern midfielders had. Poor day at the office all round , bayern so deserved the win tonight. And while I'm at it I now know why Wenger wasn't too upset with Sagna leaving. He was awful and embarrassingly poor with the ball.

Re: bye bye yaya

He's playing like he doesn't want to be here so if that's the case he should leave. Pellers should have the balls to drop him.

He should have had the balls to have made a substitution with him.The world and his fucking wife could see he was fucked with half an hour left and MP still persisited.Irrespective of where MP was sat in the ground, that message could still have found its way down to Ruben,so don`t lets use that as an excuse.

Totally agree, he was poor throughout the game. Pep, Ancelotti or Maureen would've halled his arse off after the first half hour. Theres definitely a problem with Yaya and until it gets resolved then we'll struggle. Shame we don't someone like Barkley to challenge his place. have I find it appalling that he's not putting in the effort considering the obscene wage he's on.
