I just wish in top games we would go with a midfield three, the rest then sorts itself out. Another lacklustre display in Europe. I'm hoping at some stage we snap out of this daydream that we seem to have got caught up in. Come on City, lets rectify the defeat at Villa we suffered last season this coming Saturday!!

We should do a deal with NYCFC; we keep Lampard, they get Yaya.

I think we can probably do a little better than that!
Flog him to the highest bidder in January before his value plummets further.

He's off to the ACON's for 3-4 weeks, then knack erred for another 2 weeks straight after, nobody will be interested in signing him till the summer.

Yaya had a specific no frills role tonight that was deep and defensive. Go easy, he was just doing his job. When Fernando gets back he can go further forward and be more adventurous!

We played with ten men again tonight with that system involving Toure. He's like a statue in the Champs League and we will NEVER do well in it while we've got Yaya in the side. Either overload the midfield while playing Yaya or forget it, we'll always get outplayed in midfield and ultimately the game.

Why can't Pellers and the coaches see this???????

Its not just Yaya though is it? Fernandhino just isn't doing it this season so far. Nasri was also off the pace prior to his injury.

I guess I;m not the only one who sees YaYa as fat and lazy. He plays like he is still in a funk about the bloody birthday cake and the perceived "lack of love" from City management. Toure needs to be dropped for the next game and play Lampard instead. At 36 Lampard is earning HIS money. Pelligrini needs to sit Toure on the bench for a couple of games while those who want to play and see City win get on the pitch. City can't keep playing with 10 1/2 men vs. 11 each game. Perhaps Cousin Vinnie needs to take Toure aside and tell him to put up or shut up.

I'm tired of Toure stealing from MCFC. He's taking his pay check every week without doing his job -- that's stealing! I do hope Toure is not expecting to get a new contract any time soon. Sheikh Mansour should sell him to PSG.

This time last year he'd have been all over the one we got early second half, perfect for him, but he just walked away.
