Re: Yaya?

Played well going forward last night. His possession is a thing of beauty and he plays well with Silva. His defensive abilities haven't really changed in the whole time he's been here, so not sure why we have to talk about it after every game. Or is it because the ITV commentators were saying how shit he was playing, so we now all believe that?

Seeing him in champions league games reminds me of the scene in King Kong at the end were Kong is trying to swat the planes buzzing around him. He was a luxury who could win a game with one burst or worldly shot now he's just a liability.
On this moronic comment it's clear it's time for sleep

He tried, and it didn't work out for him

It wont be long till he makes you eat your words
The only moron is you. He's clearly not arsed anymore and after birthday cake gate etc in the summer he owed the club and fans a response on the pitch, he's not done it and clearly he's carried his summer sulk on to the pitch this season. If that's what you want to watch every week well then I really don't fucking know but I fucking don't. I can tolerate a player who's not very good but a world class player that goes out for a jog...piss off

Re: Yaya?

He needs to be dropped to the bench like any other player, while he re discovers some form. He needs replacing in the summer

Re: Yaya?

I don't know how, but somehow Pellegrini needs to earn his man-management corn and let Yaya know in plain terms that the way he is playing is unacceptable. It's not that he never tries - there are moments in the game where he is certainly trying and in fact he is so talented, he does some good stuff.

The problem is when the opposition have the ball, he just wanders around aimlessly, making no effort to get involved in the play and just waiting / hoping the ball might miraculous come his way.

Honestly, I think he thinks this is quite acceptable. He does it constantly and I am not sure anyone is telling him it's bang out of order? Fernandino must think Yaya is an absolute twat, given he's running around like a blue arsed fly trying to do the job of two players.

It's down to Pellegrini to get the best out of Yaya, and if he cannot, to get rid of him.

Re: Yaya?

Didn't work hard enough last night - again.

How has Pellegrini not seen that Yaya in a midfield 2 doesn't work in the CL?

Our best CL performance, away at Munich, Yaya wasn't involved in.

like Sergio & Vinny he is undroppable, I suppose there is an argument Manuel is protecting the club's assets.

A rapidly depreciating asset.

Re: Yaya?

All players and managers have a natural life span and it was time to cash in on Yaya this summer past.

We will live to regret not doing so.
