Re: Yaya?

If we're going 4-4-2 in the CL, it has to be 2 solid centre midfielders - Fernando and Fernandinho.

If we're going 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 in the CL, only one of Yaya and Silva can play IMO.

All players and managers have a natural life span and it was time to cash in on Yaya this summer past.

We will live to regret not doing so.
I agree. His stock was high, could have got £20 - 25m for him. Which is good sum for a player that wants to leave and is aged 31. Bad management by keeping unhappy player who clearly wanted out and we are paying the price now.

Lucky to get £15m next summer or in January, due to his form and age.

We won't shift him in January whilst he is fucking about in the AFCON. He will then come back knackered, sad, depressed etc and finish the season poorly and we will be begging clubs to take him come the summer.

Txiki is a very smart operator but he dropped a bollock not shifting him out and rebuilding.

Agreed mate.

I wouldn't start Yaya or Nasri in the CL, they unbalance the team too much and it's the main reason we struggle.

Looked very disinterested tonight. time to say goodbye. yes.

hahahhahahahhahahahhha

did you witness his non-performance last night? Wake up and smell the coffee, the writing is on the wall.

Do you remember his first 6/7 games every season since he's been here?? Even last season he papered over the cracks because of a few brilliant free kicks/worldies in those 6 or 7 games.... He gets up to speed around 10/11 in, always has, always will..... Those same people write him off time and time again, when will they learn?

let's hope the future resembles the past then but unfortunately our key games don't correspond with his gear changes

Unfortunately we've played Liverpool, Chelsea, arsenal, bayern and Roma in Our first 8, historically we've never had a start like it and thus his slow burning is being exposed, class is permanent matey!!!!

Played well going forward last night. His possession is a thing of beauty and he plays well with Silva. His defensive abilities haven't really changed in the whole time he's been here, so not sure why we have to talk about it after every game. Or is it because the ITV commentators were saying how shit he was playing, so we now all believe that?
I agree I think going forward he was good last night. I think the main problem in Europe is the two strikers don't work hard enough to drop in. Jovetic is one of our most hard working players and could do that job.
