There are too many managers who think this sort of behaviour is acceptable. Skilful players have been kicked by clodhoppers for generations. A lot of the pundits treat it as a bit of a joke. There is one way to deal with this kind of behaviour from the fans. Some people may not like it but Danny F-ing Murphy should be targeted for abuse by the fans on social media, whether it be twitter or another platform. The abuse of a well known media pundit will definitely be picked up by newspaper and the kind of shit Danny Murphy came out with "get stuck into them" would be thought about twice in the future by other pundits. It will also put referees in the spot light who will then take action before serious injuries happen.

People might say its wrong to abuse anyone on social media but its the only way pundits and media are put under scrutiny in this country unfortunately. I would however add that abuse should not be directed to any family members but "Danny Murphy the so called pundit and Liverpool Fan." Of course the abuse should not include any death threats either.
