I like Maddison too. My favorite Leicester player after Kelechi, I'm bias of course. TBH he is the only Leicester player whose game really impresses me. He wouldn't look out of place in our midfield lineup. I'd rather have him than signing Rice.

I mean signing Maddison for half of Rice would mean city can allocate more money towards a potential winger or another younger midfielder.

Not like its either Maddison or McAtee is it? We've just won £300 million in prize money and seems like we are going to add about £150 million at least in player sales if Laporte, Mahrez, Bernardo and Walker go. No reason whatsoever to be shopping at Primark.

Agree. I can see both McAtee and another midfielder in this team. Next season is gonna be even more packed with games than this one. Need that depth

Yeah I don’t want Bernie to go but bit of an exaggeration mate. He’s been incredibly consistent since he’s signed. We could get a young English player in his prime years that can cover multiple positions were expecting outgoings in for under 50mil.

Some of us on here mooted him as a Sane replacement when he was with QPR. Will be interesting to see how he develops next season. He was in and out of the Palace side for much of last year and moved around the positions, but when Hodgson was reappointed, he predominantly played him in the centre of the park and, more importantly, he kept him on the pitch for the full ninety. He played all of the last ten games and there was a marked uptick in his form: six goals and an assist.

Also played himself into the England squad, and depending on who ends up signing him, could end up a regular in the team.
