Since we can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn:
bear in mind that last year in january when cancelo left , we approached leicester for him , but they didn't want to sell himWas gutted when we didn’t go for him in that recent window (after Grealish had already come) where he went to Spurs.
He took the piss in that first half yesterday and essentially controlled the play. Dropped deep to get it off the keeper, clever to get fouls where needed and wasn’t scared to put a foot in. And plays passes FORWARD!
Too late now. But would’ve loved him here.
Nonsense.Maddison not good enough. Has 1 good game then 5 sub-par.
Madisson was taken off at half time against west ham recently for tactical reasons and the two games before us was dropped playing a combined 14 mins across both games. he is the definition of a hot and cold player. He also threw in the towel at leicester the season they went down(not as much as tielmanns mind) and is a reason he is at spurs rather than a top top team. He also appears to be a divisive character with a lot to say, the opposite of what we have built.Nonsense.
Similar age to when we signed Walker but the latter had done more in his career although it was at SpuryNottingham Forest are confident they will agree a new contract with 28-year-old Nigeria full-back Ola Aina. (Football Insider)
He has the pace & power to replace Walker
Welcome! You've finally arrived.Players Id like to see come in over the next 2 windows:
Liam Delap (Haaland back up)
Florian Wirtz (Future Kev replacement)
Martin Zubimendi (Gundogan replacement)
Bruno Guimaraes (Bernie/Kova replacement)
Tino Livramento (Walker replacement)
Antonee Robinson (LB with pace)
New Young Fast CB (high potential)
Play More:
Jacob Wright
Nico O Reilly
James McAtee
Leave Soon:
John Stones (love him, but made of glass and getting older)
Kyle Walker (obviously)
Gundogan (his time has already passed)
1 of Kovacic or Bernie? (Im not sure we need both controllers)
....
Kevin? (saddest and most difficult, but I imagine he has like 1 more year at this level before his body cant keep up)
Favorite Nigerian Fullback. Such a smart player. Not sure if he can step up to the highest level.Nottingham Forest are confident they will agree a new contract with 28-year-old Nigeria full-back Ola Aina. (Football Insider)

But love watching him in an often disjointed Nigerian squad.
Can’t see us bringing back players for the sake of it. THB and Delap are both doing well and will be aware they might get time for a few months but will be hard to break into the team long term.Bring Brahim back. Baleba from Brighton. Delap to rotate with Erl. Harwood-Bellis to come home.
Then if I'm greedy Barella or Vitinha. Quite like the potential in Dibling too.
only played under pep for about two weeks in a preseason, 6 years ago, not sure that'll count for muchReports suggesting Douglas Luiz wants out at Juve. I wonder if Pep might be interested with Rodri’s injury, Prem proven and his previous with City might help the adaption process into a Pep system.
These are the kind of the deals I can see us do in January. Ones that can be easily done. Only thing is we might want someone with the mentality to be high in confidence to make the mark right away.Reports suggesting Douglas Luiz wants out at Juve.
