Police

I'm just pleased that the police in Pendleton are finally taking action against people who call barms muffins
OK, confession time. As I live in Edinburgh , to me a barm is someone is a bit mad, (barmpot), and a muffin is a cakey thing.
Does the entire discussion centre on what I would call a bread roll?

Also, does this confession mean I shall be getting my door chapped by Pendleton's finest?

(Chapped: verb past tense = knocked on)

Hopefully your back doors will remain intact, unlike the OPs whilst serving time at his majesty's pleasure.
