They may well be, but given the amount of time taken since the offence I suspect not. It was made clear just after the event that not all of the videos and evidence relating to the incident were known. I guess that will all come out in the trial, if they can find a neutral jury that is.

I think you'll find it's part of the justice system that people, whatever their crime or creed are entitled to representation. Although I believe the lawyer you refer to has dropped the case. Why is it a shit show?

Couple of dickheads thought it would be fun to smash the shit out of a few coppers, probably believing the cops would not do anything for fear of repercussions.

I was referring to that fucker who was all over the news at the start. We could all see what was going on there. Compo face.

Happened in the 2011 riots too, which are treated differently and always have been. It was death penalty for a riot not so long ago too.
 
It was always going to take a while for a proper investigation. To interview witnesses, collect all cctv, get statements from the police. There was nothing out of the usual.

Those on the far right wailing about two tier justice are just wrong on that.

Also, the riots were different, they were caught and pled guilty and there was no need for investigation of witnesses etc.
