Policing in the UK

It was always going to take a while for a proper investigation. To interview witnesses, collect all cctv, get statements from the police. There was nothing out of the usual.

Those on the far right wailing about two tier justice are just wrong on that.

Also, the riots were different, they were caught and pled guilty and there was no need for investigation of witnesses etc.
Not having that. The riots needed to stop so justice was swift on the orders of those above, ( and I agree with the reasoning)
This is the opposite, those above wanted everything to die down so they delayed and delayed.
As one poster has already said, go and smack a dibble tonight in Piccadilly and see if you have to wait 5 months before a decision is made.

Bloody hell, in an extremely rare act, common sense has actually prevailed for once. Good to see the scumbags charged and somewhat surprised but very glad to see the officers face no action. The stamp was a bit naughty but was throughly deserved. Was hoping the prick of a lawyer who tried to stir people into a frenzy would face punishment too.

About time but good news nonetheless. No Police Officers to be charged makes it even better.
I remember when the incident happened, and was first reported; there were plenty on here who wanted the officer's head on a stick. When a second video emerged of the accused causing trouble in a separate incident at the airport on the same day, they went very quiet.

There’s a lot more to this case than someone randomly lamping a copper at Piccadilly station, or whatever video footage was in the public domain. Those who were complaining seem to forget that the police were also asking for witnesses to at least 2 other incidents at the airport that they suspected the accused were involved in. I think one of those was in a Starbucks. It takes time to gather information, witness statements, etc. Then there was the investigation into the policeman himself for the stamp. That would’ve taken a lot of time to complete in itself. Personally, I think they’ve gotten to this stage quicker than expected and all along I had little doubt they would get charged eventually. Oh, and cunts like Farage need to keep their fucking nose out and let the process run its course. It wouldn’t surprise me if the prick tried to claim some credit for today’s announcement.

It really doesn't matter whether you're having it or not.

The two situations are different.

What people WANT to believe is that Muslims get treated better.

I wonder where that twat is now, he soon scarpered when it became apparent what had happened prior to the police incident.

Has the mother been charged with causing the situation on the flight in the first place? Mummy's lap dogs waded into some people she'd pointed out off the flight didn't they?

I thought the mother said she’d been on the receiving end of something that happened on the flight? If that can be corroborated, why would she be charged for that?
