Here is the problem right here in this interview. A family totally choosing to ignore that their family member was a violent criminal and his actions in pursuing that lifestyle ultimately led to his death. If it wasn't at the hands of the police it would have been at the hands of another equally violent thug. They need the stop blaming everybody else and take some responsibilities for their own choices and lifestyles.

Me too. They care about nobody but themselves and anybody who tries to stop them is met with threats, intimidation and violence. The normal hard working law abiding families in these areas just keep their heads down and hope for the best.

Years ago growing up in Benchill, Wythenshawe one of my mates parents house was robbed. He was eighteen and still living at home. The police turned up to investigate. In chatting the copper says to my mate, "I'm amazed decent families like you still stay here. You do know you're surrounded by criminals don't you?" He then named four known robbers living close by. My mate told him he was perfectly aware but where could they go? They couldn't afford to buy a house in a better area and moving to another council house would just be out of the frying pan and into the fire. That's the sad reality for many.
