Political relations between UK-EU

How superb it is to be out of the clutches of the EU. I just went to McDonald’s and got a QUARTER POUNDER. It felt to patriotic not to be calling it the Eighth of a Kiloer after all these years. God bless Boris.
Meat in restaurants, and milk, and beer, must be the last refuges of imperial measurements. "A 250 gramme rump steak please and a pint of wine."

In correcting the gripes of the pub bores Rees-Mogg has shown himself to lack seriousness.

It is just performative nonsense.

An oddball not in touch with reality who stands to salute the national anthem when visiting the cinema.

How many seat belts does that car have?

Good point. Don't know. 5 at maximum but doesn't look like they are fitted in the back.

But as it is a classic car, if it was manufactured and sold without them then he isn't under any obligation to fit them. Which is probably why he has it.

I don't always like "Robespierre" - maybe I usually don't feel I need the commentary - but this is a very good explanation of how ridiculous it is for the minority in NI to overrule the majority (and coincidentally feed the Tory EU haters).
Agree. One of his better explanations. I just never know who his audience is. Only place I see him is in here.

A vote loser in itself when people realise how much it is in "old money".

The winning would be in people not realising that the price of a packet of food is the same but the size of the packet has gone down by 4 ounces.

Would it be such a vote user - the vast majority of drivers will only ever have bought fuel in litres. A bit of bullshit and bluster around it would probably make the plebs think it somehow made it cheaper. They are convinced this is a vote winner

He complains about GDPR but it was subsumed into the GPA 2018 as we were leaving the EU, a purely tory act.
