Delays, custom charges & admin, port fees.
When they moved out to Eastern Europe it was to take advantage of cheap labour. Now wage inflation outstrips the UK, so it's long been considered and this was the final nail.

Absolutely. I think that's the whole point. No barriers means a slow rebalance across the superstate. Shows the selfish side of Brexit, because it accepts that the future of the UK is a rebalance of funds elsewhere.
 
In fairness this is partly correct - the one's responsible for barriers and impediments to trade with the EU is us

Who cares if exports are 68% down and thousands of businesses employing millions of people are struggling. We’re a month ahead of the EU with our vaccine rollout. Might even be 6 weeks ahead!

yeah - somehow being 2 -nil up in a different competition thats running parallel to one that we are 3 - nil down in is something to be cheered.

Probably because this sort of guff gets Brexiteers excited. The fact we we keep rolling over and trade is looking sickly, with yet more trade barriers to come, doesn’t penetrate.

Brexiteers don’t care if it goes tits up, as long as they can see a British politician shouting at the EU or ‘telling it, as it is’. It’s identity politics and virtue signalling at its finest, and they get to play the victim card at the end. It’s pure catnip for them :)

I'm sure this inconsequential no mark does, but that sort of insane revisionism

I’m not nervous about Brexit, I don’t work in an industry likely to be adversely affected by it. It would be good to get a message to the hauliers and fishermen though that they are being hyperbolic
