Oh my God it was so refreshing to see energy in our play at the Etihad!

We've had it in a few away games this season (Sunderland Southampton Stoke) but it's been severely lacking at home. Today was another level to the monotonous slow passing we've seen all season at our home ground. So much more enjoyable to watch, so much more effective, as the result showed.

All the noise about rubbish players , pelle getting the sack etc and today we see one simple truth, if we can play our best 11 then we are a great team.

Nasri , aguero, Dzeko and silva all properly match fit together for the first time this year with out man yaya back as quarterback - no surprise our game has lifted - we just need them to stay that way for the rest of the season and the fans need to give them a huge roar through to the end of he season

Why does Mangala and Kolarov only get a 6? Fair enough if it's because they had a relatively easy game and were barely troubled, but you've given Kompany and Zabba a 7. Mangala was more solid today than Kompany was and Kolarov wasn't tested defensively which is his weakest part of his game and offered great support on the left flank allowing silva to drift in and perform the way he did.
