Post match thread : Borussia Monchengladbach away CL

think we got out of jail tonight , poor defensive performance , but if kun had his shooting boots on it could have been 3-3 at halftime. Credit to the lads at 1-0 down , they came back strong and showed a great mentality (as MP would say) , clearly we are not back to our best and playing yaya and merlin was a calculated gamble . Apparently our season is falling apart according to some pundits , well we have PL 10 won 7 lost 3 , and had a boat load of injuries to contend with , so maybe it is not the disaster the media (led by steve mcmanaman) is craving for.

Crazy defending, can't say we played well but some of our attacking was very nice. Sergio on form would have scored two in the first half.
Fernando was good and we looked much better at the end. Hope Yaya isn't out for long, but the (shit) commentators said it could be hamstring?
Gotta give Joe Hart motm. Loved him going for a drink before brilliantly saving the pen. Not to mention his other fantastic saves. In the post match interview he basically said our analyst team is great, he's looked at a lot of penalties and he was ready for that one.
No idea how Otamendi hasn't officially been given the goal, Demichelis should have had it anyway. Kun Agüero stepped up right at the end, perfect touch in the box to win the penalty and a clinical conversion. We're Man City, we glow in the dark.
 
How is it we play well and lose get slated

We won tonight showed true grit and fight and still get slated

Do people think every game is easy and we should win 4 nil
 
A very pleasing game tonight. Borussia Monchengladbach was a tough opponent and they had a incredible crowd, but we played fairly well under pressure. The refs were pretty bad, and the 5th officials should have cleared our first goal at the first attempt. Both penalties were dubious. In our team, Kolarov continued his bad form. Kevin and Silva paired well today, and Aguero was denied by two great saves.

They do. No respect for the other team or the problems we had to overcome
