Here is the DUP policy on Brexit.

Democratic Unionist Party (DUP)

The DUP is in favour of Northern Ireland leaving the EU but says that Brexit does not mean "leaving Europe".

It adds that it will prioritise maintaining the CTA between the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Aims:

  • frictionless border with the Irish Republic; assisting those working or travelling in the other jurisdiction
  • Northern Ireland established as a hub for trade from the Irish Republic into the broader UK market
  • comprehensive free trade and customs agreement with the EU
  • arrangements to facilitate ease of movement of people, goods and services

Cannot see them accepting her no deal is a good deal bollocks, (which she has backtracked on today already).

or budging in their own bre it demands.

It's painful watching her recall the set answers from her crib sheet.

'What I'm doing...'
'What is important...'
'What we need...'

Not sure she's even hearing the questions now.

Well, she's keeping the same cabinet by the look of it, she's too weak to re-shuffle.

She has been exposed as completely out of her depth, watching her now is strangely both repugnant and pitiable.
It's truly astonishing that she's held that office at all. When you actually stop and watch her answer questions (or completely fail to) it's like watching an automaton. It's a real-life version of 'Being There'.

Mainly because it's thoughtless Daily Mail tripe.

Let me ask you a single question which should hopefully make you realise the fallacy in your argument.

Why do schools in rich areas have significantly less crime, truancy and anti social behaviour than schools in poor areas?

Answer that and you acknowledge the flaw

Not sure why you think it shows the flaw. The difference is in parental involvement. When I grew up in Woodhouse Park if I missed school, misbehaved at school my biggest concern was my parents response. Today its the areas you describe rich areas that this still happens in. Poorer areas are bedevilled with a complete disrespect of education and its values. Parents and kids demanding their rights but ignoring the fact that rights go hand in hand with responsibilities. Socialist need to stop their archaic belief that all social ills are the result of a skewed system and that a big reason is down to individual behaviour.

If she goes we're in for another election. There's surely no way a new leader can claim any kind of mandate to rule. But elections are risky. Having seen colleagues lose their seats, a lot of Tory MPs would not be keen to go through it again.

I can see them trying to limp on for as long as possible.

What option do they have? In government but not in power. She'll wander over to Brussels and have her arse handed to her. Shit will happen, a lot of shit, she'll get showered in it, then there'll be a coup, or a Tory split.

I think the fear of defeat will chasten them for a while, but the divisions are too deep to be ignored without bloodletting. They either put themselves out of their own misery or ask the electorate to do it for them.

Beginning to think she has/had no intention of making any deal with the EU, hence the 'catchy' slogan. I think she is incredibly indecisive and knows her own limitations, but has a blind spot when it comes to accepting blame.
