I'm a postman. Yesterday I posted a box of live insects through someones letterbox. It was a City fans house too!

Mike Myers is Canadian... The 1st Shrek movie he did was completed with his regular Canadian voice.

When he heard the original soundtrack and listened to how he sounded, he maintained it wasn’t the right voice for the character, and thought it should have more of a 'Working Class' Scottish Voice.

Producer Steven Spielberg, however, was pleased with it and wouldn’t pay him to re record the entire movie that he felt was totally satisfactory.

Mike insisted that he be allowed to re record the entire soundtrack without any additional pay. Spielberg realized how intense Mike felt, so agreed to let him do it.

Mike had relatives that were working class Scottish people, and he copied how they sounded to record what became the signature voice for Shrek.
